(Luke 2:49~50 순종) And He said to them, "Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My father's business? But they did not understand the statement which He spoke them. 하나님은 주의 자녀로 주의 집에 거하게 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 가이사 아구스도의 영으로 다윗의 집 족속인 요셉이 갈릴리에서 베들레헴으로 갔는데 잉태한 마리아와 함께 갔다. 목자가 그 근처에서 양떼를 지켰는데 밤에 천사가 '다윗의 동네에 너희를 위하여 구주가 나셨으니 곧 그리스도 주시니라'하니 목자들이 베들레헴에 가서 구유에 누인 아기에 대하여 말한 것을 전하여 주고 마리아는 이것을 마음에 두었다. 마리아가 정결예식을 행하려 예루살렘에 올라갔는데 시므온이라는 이스라엘의 위로를 기다리는 자가 아기를 안고 하나님을 찬송하며 자신의 눈이 주의 구원을 보았다고 했다. 주의 함께 하심을 찬양한다. 아멘

God is the One who allows His children to dwell in His house. In today's text, Joseph, a descendant of the house and lineage of David, went from Galilee to Bethlehem by the spirit of Caesar Augustus, taking with him Mary, who was pregnant. Shepherds were keeping their flocks nearby, and an angel appeared to them during the night, saying, "For unto you is born in the city of David a Savior; he is Christ the Lord." The shepherds went to Bethlehem and told Mary what had been said about the baby lying in the manger, and she treasured this in her heart. When Mary went up to Jerusalem for her purification, Simeon, who was waiting for the consolation of Israel, took the baby in his arms and praised God, saying, "My eyes have seen the salvation of the Lord." Praise be to the Lord for his presence. Amen.
