미술교육을 통해 하나님의 뜻과 진리를 발견하게 하소서
 
완전한 진선미가 되시는 하나님을 찬양합니다.
 
사람에게 상상과 창조의 능력을 주시고, 예술 활동을 통해 하나님의 아름다움에 참여하게 하신 것을 또한 감사합니다.
 
이 하나님의 아름다움에 참여하는 거룩한 통로로 우리나라의 미술교육을 사용하여 주시기를 원합니다.
 
학교와 가정, 학원 등에서 이루어지는 모든 형태의 미술교육이 인간을 높이는 도구가 되지 않게 해주시고, 입시와 진학을 가장 크게 보는 그릇된 인식 또한 치유하여 주옵소서.
 
입시를 강조하며 미술 교과 시간을 줄이거나 없애려는 시도를 막아주시고, 진리와 지식 그리고 무엇보다 건강한 정서와 토양이 되는 미술교육을 통해 학생들의 바른 학업성취가 이루어지게 하옵소서.
 
모든 미술교육이 아름다움을 볼 수 있는 지혜와 감각을 길러 주고, 또한 아름다움을 만들어 낼 수 있는 지혜와 힘 또한 길러 주게 하셔서 자신과 세상을 더 아름답게 할 뿐만 아니라 무엇보다 하나님의 아름다움에 더 가까이 다가가는 통로가 되게 하옵소서.
 
발달단계에 맞는 적절한 미술교육이 이루어져서 우리의 자녀들이 미술에 대한 관심과 흥미를 잃지 않게 하시고, 지능의 유형이 미술과 잘 맞는 자녀들은 자신에게 주어진 특별한 선물을 잘 개발하여 그것으로 하나님 나라에 기여하게 하옵소서.

May we discover God's will and truth through art education.

We praise God, who is the perfect Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.

We also give thanks for granting humanity the ability to imagine and create, and for allowing us to participate in God's beauty through artistic activities.

We pray that you use our country's art education as a holy channel for participating in this beauty of God.

Please ensure that all forms of art education—conducted in schools, homes, and private academies—do not become tools for elevating human beings, and please heal the misguided perception that places the utmost importance on entrance exams and further education.

Please prevent attempts to reduce or eliminate art class time in the name of entrance exams, and allow students to achieve proper academic success through art education that serves as a foundation for truth, knowledge, and, above all, healthy emotions.

May all art education cultivate the wisdom and sense to see beauty, and also the wisdom and strength to create beauty, so that it may not only make ourselves and the world more beautiful but, above all, become a channel for drawing closer to God's beauty.

May we discover God's will and truth through art education. May appropriate art education tailored to their developmental stages be provided so that our children do not lose their interest and enthusiasm for art. May those children whose intelligence types align well with art develop the special gifts given to them and use them to contribute to the Kingdom of God.
