(John 7:16~17 생수) Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. 하나님은 주의 자녀에게 주의 교훈으로 가르치시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 예수께서 갈릴리에서 다니시고 유대에 다니려 아니하셨는데, 유대인들이 죽이려 하기 때문이었다. 유대인의 명절인 초막절이 가까왔을때 예수님의 형제들이 유대로 가라 했을 때 예수께서 자신의 때가 아직 이르지 아니하였다 하시고, 형제들이 올라간 후에 예수께서 은밀히 가셨는데 명절 중간에 성전에서 가르치시니 유대인이 놀라고 예수께서는 그 교훈이 자신을 보내신 이의 것이라 하시고 사람이 하나님의 뜻을 행하려면 예수님 말씀이 하나님으로 온 것을 알 것이라 했다. 또한 자기를 보내신 이는 참되시고 그들은 그분을 알지 못하나 예수께서는 그분에게서 났다고 했다. 주를 찬양한다.

God is the One who teaches His children with His instruction. In today's passage, Jesus traveled in Galilee and did not wish to go to Judea because the Jews were trying to kill Him. When the Jewish festival of Sukkot was approaching, Jesus’ brothers urged Him to go to Judea; however, Jesus said that His time had not yet come. After His brothers had gone up, Jesus went in secret, and in the middle of the festival, He taught in the temple, astonishing the Jews. Jesus said that the teaching was from Him who sent Him, and that if anyone wants to do God's will, he will know that the word of Jesus came from God. He also said that the One who sent Him is true, and although they do not know Him, Jesus is from Him. Praise the Lord.
