John 9:6~7 실로암

(John 9:6~7 실로암) After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man's eyes. "Go," he told him, "wash in the Pool of Siloam"(this word means "Sent"). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 눈을 밝히시어 진리를 보게 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 예수께서 길을 가실 때 날 때부터 맹인된 자를 보셨는데 제자들이 그가 누구의 죄로 이렇게 된 것인지 묻자 이 사람이 부모의 죄로 인함이 아니라 하나님의 일을 나타내고자 하심이라 하셨다. 또한 땅에 침을 뱉어 진흙을 이겨 눈에 바르시고 실로암 못에 가서 씻으라 하시니, 맹인이 씻고 밝은 눈으로 왔다. 사람들이 이 일을 묻자 예수라 하는 사람이 진흙을 자기 눈에 바르고 실로암에서 씻으라 하였다고 했다. 이 날은 안식일이었는데 바리새인 중 이 일이 분쟁이 되어 그 맹인되었던 자를 다시 불러 묻고 그를 쫓아내었고, 예수께서 그를 다시 만났고 그가 믿음을 고백했다. 아멘 

God is the One who enlightens the eyes of His children so that they may see the truth. In today's passage, as Jesus was walking along, He saw a man blind from birth. When His disciples asked whose sin had caused this, He said that it was not because of the sin of his parents, but so that the works of God might be displayed. Furthermore, He spat on the ground, mixed the saliva with mud, applied it to the man's eyes, and told him to go and wash in the Pool of Siloam. The blind man washed and returned with his eyes clear. When people asked about this, he explained that a man named Jesus had applied mud to his eyes and told him to wash in Siloam. This day was the Sabbath, and this became a dispute among the Pharisees. They called the man who had been blind back, questioned him, and drove him out. Then Jesus met him again, and he confessed his faith. Amen.
