유치기 자녀에게 주도성이 형성되게 하소서
 
어린 자녀를 이만큼 성장시킨 하나님 감사합니다.
 
젖먹이였던 아이가 이제는 제법 자신의 의사를 표현하기 시작하니 기쁨과 감사가 두배로 넘침을 고백합니다.
 
하나님께서 이제 자녀가 스스로 행동하도록 성장시키셨으니, 새로운 것을 계획하고 시도하는 자녀를 보며 부모인 저희가 가능성을 발견하게 하옵소서.
 
특별히 다른 사람의 입장에서 생각하고 수용하는 능력이 생기는 이 시기에 자녀가 자기 자신보다 다른 사람을 더욱 사랑하는 마음이 커지길 소망합니다.
 
친구와 함께 교제하는 시간을 통하여 누군가와 협력하여 사는 법을 배우게 하시고, 가정 안에서 자녀가 스스로 무엇인가를 하고자 하는 주도성이 잘 습득되도록 부모인 우리가 환경을 잘 조성하게 하옵소서.
 
선택하고 책임지는 연습을 시작한 아이가 이 시기에 건강한 경험들을 많이 하여 삶의 목적의식을 가지는 아이로 성장하게 하옵소서.
 
지금 자녀가 겪어야 할 발달단계를 건강하게 보내어 다음 발달 단계에서 맞이할 과업을 잘 넘을 수 있게 하시고, 부모인 저희가 자녀의 삶을 잘 안내하고 조력할 수 있도록 지혜를 더하여 주옵소서.

May a sense of initiative develop in our preschool-aged children.

Thank you, God, for raising our young children to this level.

I confess that my joy and gratitude overflow twofold now that the child, who was once a nursing infant, is beginning to express their own will quite well.

Since God has now raised our children to act on their own, may we, as their parents, discover their potential as we watch them plan and attempt new things.

Especially at this stage, when they are developing the ability to think from another person's perspective and accept others, I hope that their heart will grow to love others more than themselves.

May they learn how to live in cooperation with others through time spent socializing with friends, and may we, as parents, create a good environment within the home so that they can acquire the initiative to do things on their own.

May our child, who has begun practicing making choices and taking responsibility, have many healthy experiences during this period so that they may grow into a child with a sense of purpose in life.

May our child navigate this current developmental stage in a healthy manner so that they may successfully overcome the tasks they will face in the next stage, and may you grant us, as their parents, more wisdom to guide and assist them in their lives.

May a sense of initiative develop in our children during this early stage. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
