(Romans 5:17 구원) For if by the one man's offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) 하나님은 주의 자녀에게 생명 안에서 왕노릇하게 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 바울은 '우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 화평을 누리자' 하며 환난 중에서 성도가 즐거워할 것은 환난은 인내를 인내는 연단을 연단은 소망을 이루기 때문이라고 하고 소망이 우리를 부끄럽게 하지 아니할 것은 하나님의 사랑이 우리 마음 가운데 부은 바 되기 때문이라 하며 우리가 연약할 때에 그리스도께서 경건하지 않은 자를 위하여 죽으시고 이를 통하여 하나님께서 우리를 향하신 사랑을 확증하셨다 했다. 또한 우리가 원수되었을 때에 하나님의 아들이 죽으심으로 말미암아 우리가 하나님과 화목하게 되었은즉 예수님의 살아나심으로 구원을 받았다 했다. 아멘

God is the One who enables His children to reign in life. In today's passage, Paul says, "Let us have peace through our Lord Jesus Christ," and explains that the saints should rejoice in the midst of tribulation because tribulation produces perseverance, perseverance produces character, and character produces hope. He adds that hope will not put us to shame because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts, and states that when we were weak, Christ died for the ungodly, thereby confirming God's love toward us. Furthermore, he states that just as we were enemies and were reconciled to God through the death of the Son of God, we have received salvation through the resurrection of Jesus. Amen.
