(Romans 13:7~8 완성) Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. Own no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 빛 가운데 행하게 하시어 사랑을 완성하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 각 사람은 위에 있는 권세들에게 복종하라 하시며 권세는 하나님으로부터 나지 않음이 없다 하시며 권세를 거스리는 자는 하나님을 거스르는 자라 하시고 선을 행하라 하시며 다스리는 자에게 칭찬을 받을 것이라 하고 그는 하나님의 사역자가 되어 악을 행하는 자에게 보응하는 자라고 하셨다. 또한 조세를 바치는 것도 이로 말미암음이라 하시며 조세를 바칠 자에게 조세를 바치고 두려워할 자를 두려워하고 존경할 자를 존경하라 하시며 피차 사랑의 빚 외에는 아무 빚도 지지 말라고 하시며 사랑은 이웃에게 악을 행하지 아니하며 율법의 완성이라 하였다. 아멘 

God is the One who perfects love by causing His children to walk in the light. In today's passage, He commands that every person be subject to the governing authorities, stating that there is no authority except from God; He who resists the authorities resists God; He commands us to do good, saying that those who rule will receive praise, and that He becomes a servant of God who repays those who do evil. Furthermore, He states that the payment of taxes is also for this reason, instructing us to pay taxes to those to whom taxes are due, to fear those whom we should fear, and to honor those whom we should honor; He commands us to owe nothing to one another except the debt of love, declaring that love does no evil to its neighbor and is the fulfillment of the law. Amen.
