(Romans 12:18~19 화목) If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance  is  Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 하나님은 주의 자녀로 화목케 하셔서 주의 일을 이루시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 하나님의 모든 자비하심으로 권한다고 하며 바울은 로마 성도들에게 자신을 하나님이 기뻐하시는 산 제사로 드리라고 했다. 또한 그들이 마땅히 생각할 그 이상의 생각을 품지 않고 믿음의 분량대로 지혜롭게 생각하라고 하며 우리 많은 사람이 그리스도 안에서 한 지체가 되었다고 하고 그들이 받은 은사가 각각 다른데 예언이면 믿음의 분수대로, 가르치는 일로, 위로하는 일로, 성실한 구제로, 부지런히 다스림으로, 즐겁게 긍휼을 베품으로 서로 섬기며 형제 사랑하고 존경하기를 먼저하며 할 수 있거든 모든 사람과 화목하며 원수값는 것은 하나님께 맡기고 원수를 먹이라 했다. 아멘

God is the One who accomplishes His work by reconciling His children. In today's passage, Paul exhorts them with all of God's mercy and asks the Roman believers to offer themselves as a living sacrifice pleasing to God. He also tells them not to think more highly of themselves than they ought, but to think wisely according to the measure of faith. He states that we, being many, have become one body in Christ, and that since their gifts differ, they should serve one another—whether in prophecy according to the proportion of faith, teaching, comforting, giving with sincerity, governing diligently, or showing joyful compassion; to love and honor one another first; to be at peace with everyone if possible; and to feed one's enemies, leaving vengeance to God. Amen.
