주일을 거룩하게 지키는 가정 되게 하소서
 
성령을 통해 역사 속에서 주일을 예배의 날로 정하신 하나님, 매주일 예배를 통하여 하나님을 만나는 기쁨을 누리게 하시니 감사합니다.
 
우리 가족이 주일을 하나님의 날로 거룩하게 구별하기 원합니다.
 
먼저 저희 부부가 예배를 최우선으로 여기고, 중심을 드려서 전심으로 예배하게 하옵소서.
 
또한 안식일의 주인이셨던 주님과 같이 선을 행하시며 생명을 살리신 사역에 동참함으로 하나님을 사랑하고 섬기는 하나님의 백성으로 분명히 구별되는 사람이 되기를 원합니다.
 
이를 위하여 자녀의 공부와 성적 앞에서 믿음이 약해지는 그릇된 모습이 바르게 회복되기를 원합니다.
 
학교와 학원, 성적이 예배를 대신 하는 것을 거부하게 하시고, 주일을 온전하게 하나님의 날로 보내는 신앙을 부모의 삶으로 가르치게 하옵소서.
 
예수 안에서 몸과 마음과 영혼이 참된 안식을 누릴때, 교육의 고통으로 고단한 자녀들이 위로와 힘을 얻고 진리 위에 굳게 서게 하옵소서.
 
또한 가정에서의 예배도 살아있게 하셔서 주일의 예배가 주중에도 거룩하게 이어지게 하옵소서.
 
그리하여 우리 가정이 주일을 온전하게 구별함을 통해 하나님의 영광을 보게 하옵소서.

May our family keep the Lord's Day holy.

God, who established the Lord's Day as a day of worship throughout history through the Holy Spirit, we thank You for allowing us to enjoy the joy of meeting You through worship every Sunday.

We desire that our family set apart the Lord's Day as a holy day for God.

First, may my wife and I consider worship our top priority, offering our hearts and worshiping with all our hearts.

Furthermore, we desire to become people clearly set apart as God's people who love and serve Him, by participating in the ministry of doing good and saving lives, just as the Lord, who was the Lord of the Sabbath, did.

To this end, we pray that the wrong attitude of our faith weakening in the face of our children's studies and grades will be restored.

May we refuse to let school, private academies, and grades take the place of worship, and may we teach through our lives as parents the faith to spend the Lord's Day fully as a day for God.

When our bodies, minds, and souls enjoy true rest in Jesus, may our children, weary from the pain of education, receive comfort and strength and stand firm on the truth.

May our family be a family that keeps the Lord's Day holy. Also, please keep worship alive in our homes, so that the sanctity of Sunday worship may continue throughout the week.

Thus, may our family see the glory of God through the complete setting apart of the Lord's Day.
