(1Corinthians 2:4~5 통달) And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 하나님은 주의 자녀에게 성령으로 분별케 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 바울은 고린도교회 성도들에게 하나님의 증거를 전할 때 말과 지혜로운 것으로 하지 않고 예수 그리스도께서 십자가에 못박히신 것 외에는 아무것도 알지 아니하기로 작정했다고 하며, 바울 자신이 설득력있는 지혜의 말로 하지 않고 다만 성령의 나타나심과 능력으로 하여 그들의 믿음이 사람의 지혜가 아닌 하나님의 능력에 있게 하려 했다고 하고, 하지만 온전한 자들 중에서는 지혜를 말하는데 이 세상에서 없어질 통치자들의 지혜가 아닌 은밀한 가운데 있는 하나님의 지혜를 말하는 것이라 했다. 이 지혜는 그 세대 통치자들이 한 사람도 알지 못하였다고 하고 오직 하나님께서 주의 자녀를 위해 예비하신 것을 성령으로 보이셨다고 했다. 아멘

God is the One who enables His children to discern through the Holy Spirit. In today's passage, Paul states that when he preached God's testimony to the believers in the Corinthian church, he did not do so with words or wisdom, but resolved to know nothing except that Jesus Christ was crucified. He further explains that he did not speak with persuasive words of wisdom, but only through a demonstration of the Spirit and power, so that their faith might rest in the power of God rather than human wisdom. However, he says that among those who are mature, he speaks wisdom—not the wisdom of the rulers of this world who will perish, but the wisdom of God found in mystery. He states that none of the rulers of that age knew this wisdom, and that God has revealed through the Holy Spirit what He has prepared for His children. Amen.
