(1Corinthians 4:5 칭찬) Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one's praise will come from God. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 마음의 뜻을 드러내시고 칭찬하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 바울은 고린도교회 성도들에게 '우리를 그리스도의 일꾼이요 하나님의 비밀을 맡은 자로 여길지어다' 하며 맡은 자에게 구할 것은 충성이라 하였다. 또한 자신에게 판단받는 것은 매우 작은 일이며 바울도 자신을 판단하지 않는다고 하며 자신을 심판하시는 이는 주시라고 했다. 그러므로 때가 이르기 전 곧 주께서 오시기 전까지 아무것도 판단하지 말라고 하며 주께서 어둠에 감추인 것들을 드러내실 것이며 각 사람에게 칭찬이 있을 것이라고 했다. 또한 아볼로를 들어 본을 보였다 하며 기록된 말씀 밖으로 넘어가지 말라고 하며 바울은 모욕당하고 박해를 참았다고 하고 그들의 능력을 보겠다 했다. 아멘

In today's passage, Paul tells the believers in the Corinthian church, "Consider us as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God," stating that what is required of a steward is faithfulness. He also said that being judged by Him is a very small matter, and that Paul does not judge Himself, asserting that the one who judges Him is the Lord. Therefore, he instructed them not to judge anything before the time comes—that is, before the Lord comes-saying that the Lord will reveal what is hidden in darkness and that each person will receive praise. Furthermore, citing Apollos as an example, he urged them not to go beyond what is written, stating that Paul endured insults and persecution, and that he would see their power. Amen.
