말씀을 사랑하는 부모 되게 하소서
 
말씀으로 우리를 살리시는 하나님, 우리가 믿음으로 구원에 이르는 지혜를 주시는 말씀을 날마다 사모하며, 정기적으로 성경을 읽고, 말씀을 따라 사는 부모가 되기를 원합니다.
 
제가 먼저 하나님의 말씀을 열망하기를 원합니다.
 
그 마음으로 우리 자녀와 함께 말씀을 사랑하고 읽고 묵상하며 암송하게 하옵소서.
 
성경이 구원의 길로 안내할 뿐 아니라 형통의 길로 이끄는 안내서와 걸음을 알게 하시어서, 꿀보다 더 단 말씀을 붙들며 사는 부모가 되게 하옵소서.
 
성경 말씀에는 관심이 없고 자녀의 학업과 성적에만 관심을 두는 어리석은 부모가 되지 않게 하시고 자녀와 함께 성경을 읽고 말씀의 은혜를 함께 나누며, 자녀에게 가르치기에 앞서 말씀으로 먼저 성장하는 부모 되게 하소서.
 
말씀을 통해 제 삶이 변화되고 깨어진 부분이 치유되고 회복되게 하시며 새롭게 하는 말씀의 능력, 은혜의 역사를 경험하게 하옵소서.
 
주님이 말씀하시면, 그대로 듣고 따르기를 원합니다.

May I become a parent who loves the Word.

God, who gives us life through the Word, I desire to become a parent who daily longs for the Word that grants us the wisdom to attain salvation through faith, reads the Bible regularly, and lives according to the Word.

I desire to be the first to yearn for God's Word.

With that heart, may I love, read, meditate on, and memorize the Word together with my children.

May the Bible not only guide us to the path of salvation but also reveal the steps that lead us to the path of prosperity, so that I may become a parent who lives holding fast to the Word, which is sweeter than honey.

May I not become a foolish parent who is uninterested in the Word and only concerned with my children's studies and grades. Instead, may I become a parent who reads the Bible with my children, shares the grace of the Word together, and grows in the Word first before teaching them.

May my life be transformed through the Word, may my broken parts be healed and restored, and may I experience the power of the Word that renews and the work of grace.

When the Lord speaks, I desire to listen and follow exactly as He speaks.
