(1Corinthians 13:12~13 사랑) For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now a bide faith, hope, love, three, but the greatest of these is love. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 사랑하심으로 그 사랑을 흘러가게 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 사람의 방언과 천사의 말을 해도 사랑이 없으면 소리나는 구리와 울리는 꽹과리가 되고 예언하는 능력이 있고 산을 옮길만한 모든 믿음이 있을지라도 사랑이 없으면 자신이 아무것도 아니요 불사르게 자신을 내줄 지라도 사랑이 없으면 자신에게 아무 유익이 없다고 했다. 사랑은 오래참고 온유하며 시기하지 않고 교만하지 않으며 무례히 행치 아니하고 불의를 기뻐하지 않으며 진리와 함께 기뻐한다고 하고 예언도 폐하고 방언도 그치나 사랑은 언제든지 떨어지지 않는다 하며 그 때에 주께서 자신을 아시듯 주를 알리라 했다. 아멘    

God is the One who makes His love flow by loving His children. Today's passage states that even if one speaks in the tongues of men and of angels, if there is no love, one is merely a resounding brass or a tinkling cymbal; and even if one has the gift of prophecy and all faith that can move mountains, if there is no love, one is nothing; and even if one gives oneself up to be burned, if there is no love, it gains nothing. It says that love is patient, kind, not envious, not proud, not rude, does not rejoice in injustice but rejoices with the truth; that prophecies will cease and tongues will stop, but love will never fail; and that at that time you will know the Lord as He knows Himself. Amen.
