기독학부모의 정체성이 훈련되게 하소서
 
배우고 확신한 일에 거하라고 하신 하나님, 이 땅의 모든 부모들이 기독학부모로서의 정체성을 분명히 새기고 그 확신 위에서 살아가기를 원합니다.
 
무엇보다 기독학부모로서의 정체성의 삶으로 이어져 분명한 삶의 모습으로 정착될 수 있도록 그 삶이 훈련되게 하옵소서.
 
기독학부모로서의 확고한 정체성이 있다 말하면서도 기독학부모로서으 삶이 보이지 않아 스스로 속이는 것이 되고 성령을 근심하게 하는 것이 아니라, 앎과 삶이 하나가 되어 그 입에 고백에서나 삶에서나 누구나 인정할 수밖에 없는 분명한 기독학부모가 되게 하옵소서.
 
이를 위해 입으로 시인하여 구원에 이르듯 스스로 기독학부모인 것을 늘 입으로 고백하여 자신이 누구인지를 분명히 새기게 하옵소서.
 
또한 자녀들을 신앙 안에서 양육하는 분명한 삶의 증거를 갖되 무엇보다 가정이 신앙공동체로 굳게 세워지도록 가정예배가 살아있게 하옵소서.
 
성령을 통해 기독학부모인 것을 흔들림 없이 붙들 수 있는 삶의 구체적인 모양들이 만들어지고 또 그것이 삶에 완전히 새겨지도록 훈련하게 하셔서 그 입의 고백이 없어도 삶만으로도 기독학부모인 것을 세상이 알게 하옵소서.

May the Identity of a Christian Parent Be Trained

God, who commanded us to abide in what we have learned and are convinced of, I desire that all parents on this earth clearly engrave their identity as Christian parents and live upon that conviction.

Above all, may their lives be trained so that this identity as a Christian parent leads to a life that becomes firmly established as a distinct way of living.

May they not deceive themselves or grieve the Holy Spirit by claiming to have a firm identity as a Christian parent yet failing to live as one; rather, may their knowledge and life become one, so that they may become distinct Christian parents whom everyone cannot help but acknowledge, both in their confession with their lips and in their daily lives.

To this end, just as one confesses with the mouth to attain salvation, may they always confess with their mouths that they are Christian parents, clearly engraving who they are.

Furthermore, may they possess clear evidence in their lives of raising their children in the faith, and above all, may family worship remain vibrant so that the family is firmly established as a community of faith.

**May the Identity of a Christian Parent Be Trained** May you train us through the Holy Spirit to form concrete shapes of life that enable us to hold fast to being Christian parents without wavering, and to engrave them completely into our lives, so that the world may know that we are Christian parents through our lives alone, even without the confession of our lips.
