시험을 앞둔 자녀가 바른 태도를 갖게 하소서
 
하나님 아버지, 자녀가 마디 마디 성장하는 과정을 곁에서 함께 바라보며 선물 주신 분의 마음을 느끼는 기쁨을 허락해 주심에 감사합니다.
 
이 시간 학업의 자리로 부르신 자녀에게 인생의 관문처럼 다가오는 시험을 앞두고 기도드립니다.
 
무엇보다 시험의 결과만을 중시하는 가치관과는 구별된 태도를 부모와 자녀에게 심어주시기를 원합니다.
 
시험이 자녀에게 부족한 부분을 깨닫고 채워가는 과정, 자신의 은사와 소질을 찾아가는 여정이 되게 하시고 획일적 평가에 매몰되어서 초조해 하거나 조급해 하지 않기를 원합니다.
 
의연하게 그것을 바라보게 하시고, 담대하게 준비하게 하옵소서.
 
특별히 벼락치기와 같은 단기간의 공부로 좋은 성과를 내는 것에 초점을 맞추지 말게 하시고, 한 단계 한 단계 차분히 준비하여 시험의 현장에서도 정직하게 시험에 임할 수 있기를 원합니다.
 
또한 공부하는 것만큼 결과가 나오게 하시어 하나님은 심은 대로 거두시는 분임을 잊지 말게 하옵소서.
 
부모인 저희 또한 성적으로 자녀를 평가하지 않게 하시고 최고보다 최선을 바라게 하옵소서.

Help your child develop the right attitude ahead of the exam.

Heavenly Father, thank you for allowing me the joy of watching my children grow step by step and feeling the heart of the One who gave them the gift.

I pray for your child, whom you have called to study at this time, as he prepares for the exam that approaches as a gateway to life.

Above all, we want to instill in parents and children an attitude that is distinct from values that only focus on test results.

I want the test to be a process of realizing and filling in the child's shortcomings and a journey to discover his or her own gifts and talents, and not to become anxious or impatient due to being buried in uniform evaluation.

Let us look at it resolutely and prepare with boldness.

In particular, we ask you not to focus on achieving good results through short-term study such as cramming, but to prepare calmly, step by step, so that you can approach the exam honestly even at the test site.

Also, please help me get results as much as I study, so that I do not forget that God is the one who reaps what He sowes.

As parents, please do not judge our children based on their grades and hope for the best rather than the best.
