온유의 성품을 맺게 하소서
 
늘 온유함으로 우리를 기다리시고 바라보시는 하나님, 저와 자녀가 주님의 성품을 닮기를 원합니다.
 
이 땅에 살아가면서 만나는 수많은 일들과 사람들 앞에 부드러움과 온화함으로 다가가는 자가 되게 하옵소서.
 
주님이 주신 온유의 성품이 자녀 안에서 자라나 마음의 심지가 깊은 자가 되게 하셔서 때로는 이해하지 못하는 상황, 억울한 상황 속에서도 숨 한 번 크게 쉬고 온유하고 담다하게 대처하게 하옵소서.
 
하나님, 자녀가 비록 적이라 할지라도 대항하거나 맞서 싸우는 것을 즐겨하지 않기를 원합니다.
 
오히려 주님이 주신 온유함으로 그것을 포용하고 이해하는 자녀가 되게 하옵소서.
 
이 세상의 방법과 다른 방법으로 대처하며 살아가는 자녀 가운데 하나님의 땅을 기업으로 받는 은혜가 임하게 하옵소서.
 
또한 부모인 제가 누구보다 자녀의 성품에 관심을 가지고, 먼저 온유함으로 다가가는 통로가 되게 하셔서 온유함의 은혜가 저희 가정으로부터 이 땅 가운데 흘러넘치는 샘의 근원이 되게 하옵소서.

Let me develop a character of gentleness

God, who always waits and looks upon us with gentleness, I want my children and I to resemble your character.

Please help me become someone who approaches the many things and people I encounter while living on this earth with softness and gentleness.

May the nature of gentleness given by the Lord grow in your children, so that they become people with deep hearts, so that they can take a deep breath and deal with meekly and calmly even in situations that they sometimes do not understand or are unfair to.

God, I do not want my children to enjoy resisting or fighting even if they are enemies.

Rather, please help me become a child who embraces and understands it with the gentleness the Lord has given me.

May the grace of inheriting God's land come to your children who live in ways that are different from those of this world.

Also, as a parent, please let me be more interested in the character of my children than anyone else and be the first channel through which they approach me with gentleness, so that the grace of gentleness can become the source of a spring overflowing from my family to the land.
