(Psalm 119:153~155 변호) Consider my affliction and deliver me, For I do not forget Your law. Plead my cause and redeem me; Revive me according to Your word. Salvation is far from the wicked, For they do not seek Your statutes. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 변호하시고 말씀대로 살리시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 자신은 미천하여 멸시를 당하지만 주의 법도를 잊지 아니할 것이라고 하며 '환난과 우환이 내게 미쳤으나 주의 계명은 나의 즐거움이니이다'하고 주의 증거를 깨닫게 하사 자신을 살게 해 주시길 구하고 있다. 또한 자신이 날이 밝기 전에 부르짖고 바라며 주의 말씀을 읊조리기 위해 새벽녘에 눈을 떴다고 하고 주의 인자하심을 따라 자기 소리를 들어주시길 구하며 여호와께서 가까이 계신다고 하고, '나의 고난을 보시고 나를 건지소서 내가 주의 율법을 잊지 아니함이니이다'하고 주께서 자기를 변호하고 말씀대로 살리시길 구하고 있다. 아멘
