(Proverbs 19:20~21 소원) Listen to counsel and receive instruction, That you may be wise in your latter days. There are many plans in a man's heart, Nevertheless the LORD's counsel-that will stand. 하나님은 주의 계획을 주의 자녀를 통하여 이루어가시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 가난하여도 성실하게 행하는 입술이 패역하고 미련한 자보다 낫다고 하시며 지식없는 소원은 선하지 못하고 발이 급한 사람은 잘못 간다고 하였다. 또한, 재물은 많은 친구를 더하게 하지만 가난한즉 친구가 끊어진다고 하며 거짓 증인은 벌을 면치 못할 것이요 거짓말을 하는 자도 피하지 못할 것이라 했다. 지혜를 얻는 자는 자기 영혼을 사랑하고 영혼을 지키는 자는 복을 얻는다고 하며 왕의 노함은 사자의 부르짖음 같고 그의 은택은 풀 위의 이슬이라 하고 집과 재물은 상속받지만 슬기로운 아내는 여호와께로서 말미암는다고 했다. 아멘

God is the one who accomplishes His plan through His children. In today's text, it says that a poor man's lips that walk faithfully are better than a perverse and foolish man, that a desire without knowledge is not good, and that a hasty footstep will go astray. It also says that wealth brings many friends, but the poor will lose their friends. A false witness will not go unpunished, and a liar will not escape. He who gets wisdom loves his own soul, and he who guards his soul finds blessings. The king's wrath is like the roar of a lion, and his favor is like dew on the grass. A man inherits a house and riches, but a prudent wife is from the Lord. Amen.
