(Proverbs 20:27~29 지혜) The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching all the inner depths of his heart.Mercy and truth preserve the king, And by lovingkindness he upholds his throne.The glory of young men is their strength, And the splendor of old men is their gray head. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 영혼을 깊이 살펴 등불을 비추어주시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 포도주는 거만하게 하는 것이요 독주는 떠들게 하는 것이라고 하며 왕의 진노는 사자의 부르짖음 같으며 그를 노하게 하는 것은 자기 생명을 해하는 것이라고 했다. 또한 다툼을 멀리하는 것이 사람에게 영광이어늘 미련한 자마다 다툼을 일으킨다고 하고, 게으른 자는 가을에 밭갈지 않기 때문에 구걸할 지라도 얻지 못하지만, 사람의 마음에 았는 모략은 깊은 물과 같고 명철한 사람은 그것을 길어낸다고 했다. 비록 아이라도 자기 동작으로 자기 품행의 정결한 여부를 나타낸다고 하며 세상에 진주와 금보다 지혜의 입술이 더 귀한 보배라 했다. 아멘
