(Ecclesiastes 10:16~17 공손) Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child, And your princes feast in the morning! Blessed are you, O land, when your king is the son of nobles, And your princes feast at the proper time-For strength and not drunkness! 하나님은 주의 자녀의 기력을 보하게 하시려고 먹이시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 죽은 파리들이 향기름을 악취나게 만드는 것 같이 적은 우매가 지혜와 존귀를 난처하게 만든다고 하며 지혜자의 마음은 오른쪽에 우매자의 마음은 왼쪽에 있다고 하고, 주권자가 분을 일으키거든 자리를 떠나지 말 것은 공손함이 큰 허물을 용서받게 하기 때문이라고 했다. 또한 우매자가 크게 높은 지위들을 얻고 부자들이 낮은 지위에 앉는다고 하며 함정을 파는 자는 거기에 빠질 것이며 담을 허는 자는 뱀에게 물릴 것이라고 하고 철연장이 무디어졌는데도 날을 갈지 않으면 힘이 더 들며 오직 지혜는 성공하기에 유익하다고 하였다. 주를 찬양한다.
