My beloved is white and ruddy, Chief among ten thousand. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 아름답게 보시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '나의 누이, 나의 신부야'라고 하며 자신의 몰약과 향재료를 거두고 자신의 포도주와 젖을 마셨기 때문에 자신의 친구들과 사랑하는 사람들도 많이 마시라고 하였다. 또한, 자신은 잘찌라도 마음은 깨었는데 사랑하는 자의 소리가 들린다고 하며 문을 두드려 자신의 머리에 이슬이 가득하다고 했다고 하며, 자신은 옷을 벗었기 때문에 다시 발을 더럽힐 수 없지만 사랑하는 자가 문틈으로 손을 들어밀었기 때문에 마음이 동하셨고, 사랑하는 자를 위해 문을 열 때 몰약의 즙이 자기 손가락에서 문빗장에 들었다고 하였다. 한편, 문을 열 때 사랑하는 사람이 벌써 물러가서 자신이 그를 찾아도 만나지 못하였다고 하고 자신이 사랑하므로 병이 들었다고 하였다. 또한 예루살렘 여자들에게 이는 자기의 사랑하는 자요 자신의 친구라고 소개했다. 아멘
