(Song of Songs 7:13 갈멜산) The mandrakes send out their fragrance, and at our door is every delicacy, both new and old, that I have stored up for you, my beloved. 하나님은 주의 자녀에게 좋은 것으로 준비시키시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '귀한 자의 딸아 신을 신은 네 발이 어찌 그리 아름다운가'라고 하며 그 넓적다리는 숙련공이 만든 구슬꿰미와 같다고 하였다. 또한 배꼽은 포도주를 가득 부은 둥근 잔과 같고 두 유방은 암 사슴의 쌍태새끼 같으며 목은 상아 망대와 같고 눈은 헤스본 바드랍빔 문 곁에 있는 연못 같으며, 코는 다메섹을 향한 레바논 망대와 같고 머리는 갈멜산과 같으며 드리운 머리털은 자주빛이 있기 때문에 왕이 그 머리카락에 메어있다 하고 그 입은 좋은 포도주와 같다고 하였다. 주의 백성을 사랑으로 안으시는 주께 감사드린다.

God is the one who prepares good things for His children. Her navel is like a round goblet filled with wine, her two breasts like twin fawns of a deer, her neck like an ivory tower, her eyes like the pools of water at the gate of Bath-rabbim in Heshbon, her nose like the tower of Lebanon facing Damascus, her head like Mount Carmel, and her hair is purple, so that a king is bound by her hair, and her mouth is like the best wine. I give thanks to the Lord who embraces His people with love.
