성경적 권위를 가진 부모 되게 하소서(유아기 자녀를 둔 부모의 기도)
 
우리 가족을 믿음 안에서 자라게 하시는 하나님, 감사를 드립니다.
 
부모인 저도, 사랑하는 자녀도 오늘까지 지키시고 자라게 하여 주신 것은 모두 하나님의 은혜입니다.
 
하나님, 이제 막 또래 집단 속에서 새로운 사회관계를 시작한 자녀가 친구들과의 마찰이 생기기도 하고 자기 의사표현도 확실하여 고집을 부리거나 때를 쓸 때도 있습니다.
 
그 때 중재자인 부모로서 강압적으로 자녀에게 다가가지 않게 하시고, 성경적인 권위로 서는 부모가 되게 하옵소서.
 
자녀가 자라면서 부모의 마음에 들지 않을 때 내 욕심대로, 부모의 힘을 사용하여 고치러하지 말고, 먼저 그 모습을 인정하게 하옵소서.
 
자녀에게 권위를 형성하는 시기인만큼 말씀으로 권위를 세우게 하시고 말씀에 토대를 두고 양육하는 부모가 되게 하소서.
 
주님, 저의 감정과 생각이 앞서려 할 때마다 아이의 주인이 하나님임을 분명히 알게 하시고, 우리 부부는 단지 청지기가 되게 하여 주옵소서.
 
말씀과 권위로 살아가는 우리 부부를 통해 자녀도 말씀 안에서 순복하게 하소서.

Let us become parents with biblical authority (Prayer for parents of infants)

God, who has raised our family in faith, I give thanks.

It is all by your grace that you have protected me as a parent and raised my beloved children to this day.

God, when children who are just starting new social relationships in their peer group have friction with their friends, and sometimes they are stubborn or use force because they are expressive.

At such times, please do not forcefully approach your children as a mediator, but let us be parents who stand with biblical authority.

When your children grow up and do not like you, do not try to fix them by using your power as a parent according to your own desires, but first acknowledge their behavior.

Since this is the time when you are forming authority over your children, please establish authority with your Word and let us be parents who raise them based on your Word.

Lord, whenever my emotions and thoughts come first, please let me clearly know that you are the master of my children, and let my husband and I be just stewards.

Through us, a couple who live by the Word and authority, may our children also obey the Word.

I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
