기독교세계관으로 해석해주는 부모 되게 하소서(학령기 자녀를 둔 부모를 위한 기도)
 
살아계신 하나님 아버지, 부모의 손을 벗어나 학교에서 더 큰 세상을 만나고 있는 자녀를 위해 기도합니다.
 
새로운 세계에서 공부를 통해 친구들 간의 만남을 통해 하나님 앞에서 고유하고 독립된 한 사람으로 자라나게 하시니 감사합니다.
 
주님, 혹여나 제가 가진 그릇된 세계관으로 자녀를 이끌고, 그것대로 세상을 보도록 하는 것은 아닌지 두려움이 앞설 때가 있습니다.
 
초등학생이 된 자녀가 세상을 보며 호기심 가득한 질문을 던지기도 하고 세상을 경험하며 당면한 문제들에 대해 어떻게 해결해야 할지 고민하기도 합니다.
 
부모로서 새로운 역할들에 대해 요구받을 때에 두려움으로 대하는 것이 아니라 기독교 세계관으로 설명해 주고 해석하는 부모 되게 하옵소서.
 
예전에는 부모의 권위로 자녀의 문제를 해결하였다면 이제는 부모가 상황과 문제를 해석해주고 권면하는 것들을 자녀가 스스로 대면하고 해결하는 힘을 허락하여 주옵소서.
 
부모와 아이가 점점 수평적 관계로 발전할 때 하나님이 그 중심에 임하여 주옵소서.
 
자녀의 삶에 어려움이 생길때 먼저 기도할 수 있는 부모가 되게 하시고, 성경 안에서 하나님의 답을 구하는 가족이 되게 하옵소서.

Please let me be a parent who interprets the world with a Christian worldview (Prayer for parents of school-age children)

Father God, who is alive, I pray for my children who are leaving their parents’ hands and meeting a bigger world at school.

Thank you for allowing them to grow as unique and independent people before God through studying and meeting friends in a new world.

Lord, there are times when I am afraid that I may be leading my children with my wrong worldview and making them see the world that way.

My elementary school-aged child asks curious questions as he looks at the world, and he worries about how to solve the problems he faces as he experiences the world.

When I am asked to take on new roles as a parent, please let me be a parent who explains and interprets with a Christian worldview, not with fear.

In the past, if I used to solve my children’s problems with my authority, please grant my children the power to face and solve the situations and problems that their parents interpret and advise them on their own.

When parents and children develop a more horizontal relationship, please let God be at the center of it.

When difficulties arise in the lives of their children, let us be parents who can pray first, and let us be a family that seeks God's answers in the Bible.
