(Isaiah 41:27~28 오른손) The first time I said to Zion, ‘Look, there they are!’ And I will give to Jerusalem one who brings good tidings.For I looked, and there was no man; I looked among them, but there was no counselor, Who, when I asked of them, could answer a word. 하나님은 주의 자녀에게 기쁜 소식을 전해주시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '섬들아 내 앞에 잠잠하라 민족들아 힘을 새롭게 하라 가까이 나아오라'하며 누가 동방에서 사람을 불러 일깨워 공의로 그를 불러 자기 발 앞에 이르게 하였느냐 하시고 열국을 그의 앞에 넘겨주며 그가 왕들을 다스리게 할 것이라 했다. 또한 섬들은 보고 두려워하며 땅 끝이 무서워 함께 올 것이라 하고, 목공은 못을 단단히 박아 우상이 흔들리지 않게 하지만, 이스라엘에게는 '너는 나의 종이라 내가 너를 택하고 싫어하여 버리지 아니하였다'하며 '참으로 나의 의로운 오른손으로 너를 붙들리라'하셨다. 열방의 우상을 멸하신 주를 찬양한다.

God is the one who brings good news to His children. In today's text, He says, "Be still before Me, O islands; renew your strength, O peoples; come near." Who has called from the east, who has awakened him, who has called him in righteousness, and who has brought him to his feet? He will hand over the nations before him, and he will rule over kings. Also, the islands will see and fear, and the ends of the earth will be afraid, and they will come together. The carpenter will drive the nails firmly so that the idol will not shake, but to Israel, He says, "You are My servant; I have chosen you and not rejected you," and "I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Praise the Lord who destroyed the idols of the nations.
