(Isaiah 44:23 버들) Sing, O heavens, for the LORD has done it! Shout, you lower parts of the earth; Break forth into singing, you mountains, O forest, and every tree in it! For the LORD has redeemed Jocob, And glorified Himself in Israel. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 구속하시고 주의 영광을 나타내시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '나의 종 야곱, 내가 택한 이스라엘아 이제 들으라'하시며 주께서 모태에서부터 그들을 지으셨다고 하며 두려워하지 말라 했다. 또한 주께서 목마른 자에게 물을 주실 것이며 그들을 시냇가의 버들같이 하실 것이라 하고 한 사람은 자신이 여호와께 속하였다 하며, 또 한사람은 자기가 하나님께 속하였음을 손으로 기록할 것이라 했다. 그들에게 두려워말라고 하시며 우상을 만드는 자는 허망하고 수치를 당할 것이라 하며 우상은 생각도 지식도 없고 나무토막에 불과하다고 하며, 주께서는 빽빽한 구름같은 이스라엘 죄를 없이 하였다고 했다. 주를 찬양한다.

God is the one who redeems His children and reveals His glory. In today's text, He says, "Listen now, Jacob, My servant; Israel, My chosen ones," and He says, "The Lord formed them from the womb and said, 'Do not fear.' He also says, 'He will give water to the thirsty and make them like willows by the streams of water.' One will say, 'I belong to the Lord,' and another will write with his hand, 'I belong to God.' He tells them, 'Do not fear.' Those who make idols will be in vain and put to shame. Idols have no thought or knowledge and are nothing more than pieces of wood.' He says, 'The Lord has taken away the thick cloud of sins of Israel.' Praise the Lord.
