게임에 대한 절제의 힘을 주소서

 

하나님 아버지, 하나님께서 우리에게 허락하신 24시간을 귀한 것, 선한 것들로 채우기를 원합니다.

 

자녀가 특별히 게임으로 인해 하나님께서 허락하신 시간을 낭비하는 일이 없도록 막아주옵소서.

 

자녀가 자신의 여가 시간을 컴퓨터 게임, 오락기 게임, 스마트 폰 게임만으로 채우는 것이 아니라 하나님의 말씀을 더욱 사랑하며, 하나님이 좋아하시는 방법으로 선용하기를 원합니다.

 

게임에 대한 적당한 선을 지키게 하시고, 오히려 친구들과 가족들과 건전한 놀이를 하는 시간이 늘어나게 하옵소서.

 

이를 위해 부모인 우리가 자녀가 바르게 여가 시간을 보낼 수 있도록 함께 운동하며, 취미생활을 할 수 있기를 원합니다.

 

자녀가 무엇을 할 때 기뻐하고 좋아하는지 관찰하는 부모가 되어, 게임이 아닌 다른 것으로 자신의 시간을 활용하는 법을 가르치게 하시고, 자녀의 평생에 지속될 건강한 여가생활의 기반을 마련하게 하옵소서.

 

게임으로부터 자유롭게 된 자녀의 마음과 육신, 그리고 영혼이 날로 건강하게 하옵소서.

Give me the power of moderation in gaming

Father God, I want to fill the 24 hours that you have given us with precious and good things.

Please prevent my children from wasting the time that you have given them, especially by playing games.

I want my children to love God’s Word more and use it in a way that God likes, rather than just filling their free time with computer games, arcade games, and smartphone games.

Please help them keep a proper line regarding games, and instead, let them spend more time playing healthy games with their friends and family.

To this end, I want us as parents to exercise together and have hobbies so that our children can spend their free time properly.

Please be parents who observe what their children are happy and enjoy doing, teach them how to use their time in something other than games, and lay the foundation for a healthy leisure life that will last their entire lives.

May the minds, bodies, and souls of our children who are freed from games become healthier day by day.
