(Jeremiah 4:14~15 깃발) O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, That you may be saved. How long shall your evil thoughts lodge within you?For a voice declares from Dan And proclaims affliction from Mount Ephraim: 하나님은 주의 자녀의 마음에서 악을 씻고 선한 생각을 주시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 주께서 이스라엘에게 그들이 주의 목전에서 가증한 것을 버리고 진실, 정의, 공의로 여호와의 삶을 두고 맹세하면 나라들이 주로 말미암아 스스로 복을 빌며 주로 말미암아 자랑할 것이라 했다. 또한, 유다와 예루살렘 주민들은 스스로 할례를 행하여 마음 가죽을 베고 여호와께 속하라 하며 그렇지 않으면 주의 분노가 불같이 일어나 사를 것이니 그것을 끌 자가 없으리라 했다. 한편 시온을 향해 깃발을 세우고, 도피하라, 지체하지 말라고 하며 사자가 수풀에서 올라오고 나라들은 멸하는 자가 나왔으니 성읍이 황폐하여 주민이 없을 것이라 했다. 아멘

God is the one who washes away evil from the hearts of His children and gives them good thoughts. In today's text, the Lord said to Israel that if they remove their abominations from His sight and swear by the Lord's life in truth, justice, and righteousness, the nations will bless themselves in Him and boast in Him. He also said that the people of Judah and Jerusalem should circumcise themselves and take away the skin of their hearts and belong to the Lord, or else His anger will flare up like fire and burn without anyone to quench it. Meanwhile, he said to Zion, "Raise a banner and flee, do not delay." He said that the lion has come up from the forest, and the destroyer has gone out from the nations, and the city will be desolate without an inhabitant. Amen.
