(Jeremiah 6:16 평강) Thus says the LORD, "Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it ; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, 'We will not walk in it." 하나님은 선한 길을 보이시고 평강으로 이끄시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '베냐민 자손들에게 예루살렘 가운데로부터 피난하라 하시며 재앙과 큰 파멸이 북방에서 오기 때문이라 했다. 또한 주께서 우아한 시온의 딸을 멸절하실 것이라 하며 목자들이 양떼를 몰고 가서 주위에 장막을 치고 먹이실 것이라 했다. 또한 만군의 여호와께서 '너희는 솟구쳐냄 같이 그 악을 드러낸다 하며 예루살렘은 훈계를 받으리라' 하고 포도를 따듯이 이스라엘의 남은 자들을 말갛게 주울 것이라 하고, 그들이 여호와의 말씀을 욕으로 여기고 즐겨하지 아니하니 주의 분노가 거리의 아이와 청년, 남편, 아내에게 부어지리라 했다. 아멘
