Was not this knowing Me? says the LORD. 하나님은 가련한 자와 궁핍한 자를 변호하는 주의 자녀를 기뻐하는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 주께서 예레미야에게 유다 왕의 집에 내려가서 그들이 정의, 공의를 행하여 탈취당한 자를 압박하는 자의 손에서 건지고 고아와 과부를 학대말며, 무죄한 피를 흘리지 않으면 다윗의 왕위에 앉을 왕들이 그 집 문으로 들어올 것이라 하시며, 그러나 그들이 듣지 않았기 때문에 그 집이 황폐할 것이며 그로 광야와 주민 없는 성읍을 만들 것이라 하셨다. 또한 주께서 살룸에 대해서는 그가 잡혀간 곳에서 죽을 것이라 하시며 그 아버지가 먹거나 마시지 아니하고 정의와 공의를 행할 때 형통하였다고 했다. 주를 찬양한다.
