Their  everlasting confusion will never be forgotten. 하나님은 주의 자녀에게 용사가 되시어 대적이 폐하게 하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 임멜의 아들 제사장 바스훌은 예레미야가 예언함을 들었는데, 이에 바스훌이 예레미야를 때리고 여호와의 성전에 있는 베냐민 문 윗층에 목에 씌우는 나무고랑으로 채웠고, 그 다음날에 바스훌이 풀어주었는데, 여호와의 말씀을 대언하여 예레미야가 그에게 그가 모든 친구에게 두려움이 될 것이며 그 친구들이 원수들의 눈에 엎드러짐을 그가 볼 것이라 하며 주께서 온 유다를 바벨론왕의 손에 넘기며, 그 성읍의 모든 부와 소득이 바벨론으로 탈취되어간 바 되며 바스훌과 그 집 모든 사람이 넘겨질 것이라 하셨다. 주의 이름을 찬양한다

God is the one who becomes a warrior to His children and destroys their enemies. In today's text, the priest Pashhur, the son of Immer, heard Jeremiah prophesying, so Pashhur struck Jeremiah and put him in the stocks of the upper room of the Benjamin Gate in the house of the Lord. The next day Pashhur released him. The Lord spoke the word of Jeremiah, saying that he would be a terror to all his friends and that he would see his friends fall before their enemies. The Lord would give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and all the wealth of the city and its gain would be carried away to Babylon, and Pashhur and all his household would be given over. Praise the name of the Lord.
