(Jeremiah 18:21 토기장이) Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, And pour out their blood By the force of the sword; Let their wives become widows And bereaved of their children. Let their men be put to death, Their young men be slain By the sword in battle. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 원수를 직접 갚으시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 토기장이 집에 내려가면 주의 말씀을 들려주시겠다고 하매 예레미야가 내려가니 진흙으로 만든 그릇이 토기장이의 손에서 터지매 그가 그 손에서 좋은대로 그릇을 만들었다. 이에 주의 말씀이 임하여 진흙이 이스라엘 같아서 토기장이의 손에서 진흙이 빚어지듯이 주께서 어느나라를 뽑으시거나 멸하시고자 할 때에 그들이 악에서 돌이키면 주께서 마음을 돌이키시고, 한 나라를 세우시려 할 때 주의 목소리를 청종치 않으면 유익하게 하는 복에서 돌이키실 것이라 했다. 아멘
