(Jeremiah 19:11 분향) and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Even so I will break this people and this city, as one breaks a potter’s vessel, which cannot be made whole again; and they shall bury them in Tophet till there is no place to bury. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 원수들을 토기장이의 그릇 깨뜨리듯 하는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 여호와께서 예레미야에게 토기장이의 옹기를 사고 백성의 어른들과 제사장 어른 몇사람과 힌놈의 아들 골짜기로 가서 주의 말을 선포하여 주께서 그곳에 재앙을 내릴 것이며 듣는자의 귀가 떨릴 것이라 하시고 그들이 주를 버리고 그곳을 다른 신들에게 분향하는 곳으로 만들었다고 하시며 또한 무죄한 자의 피로 그곳에 채웠고 바알을 위해 신당을 건축하였기 때문에 그곳을 더이상 힌놈의 골짜기라 하지 않고 죽음의 골짜기라 부를 것이며 그 성읍으로 멸망케 한다고  하며 토기그릇을 깨뜨리듯 할 것이라 했다. 아멘

God is the one who shatters the enemies of His children like a potter's vessel. In today's text, the Lord told Jeremiah to buy a potter's jar and go to the Valley of the Son of Hinnom with some of the elders of the people and the elders of the priests and proclaim the word of the Lord, saying that He will bring disaster on that place and the ears of those who hear will tingle, because they have forsaken the Lord and made it a place to burn incense to other gods. He also said that because they filled it with the blood of innocent people and built a temple for Baal, it will no longer be called the Valley of Hinnom but the Valley of Death, and he will destroy the city and shatter it like a potter's vessel. Amen.
