오래 참음의 성품을 맺게 하소서

오래 참음의 성품을 맺게 하소서
 
우리의 죄로 인해 하나님께로 돌아올 것이라고 우리를 믿어주시며 참고 또 참으시는 하나님의 마음을 제가 닮기를 원합니다.
 
자녀를 볼 때에도 늘 기다림과 오래 참음으로 보게 하옵소서.
 
특별히 자녀가 이 세상을 살명서 간혹 맞을 고통과 시련 가운데에서도 하나님을 향한 신뢰를 저버리지 않는 오래 참음의 성품을 빚어 주옵소서.
 
믿음으로 인해 고난 받을 때에도 오래 참지 못하고 안락함을 좇아가는 우를 범하지 말게 하옵소서.
 
그리하여 환난은 인내를, 인내는 연단을, 연단은 소망을 이루는 기쁨을 누리게 하여 주옵소서.
 
오래 참음 가운데 하나님의 뜻이 있고 그 끝에 하나님의 기뻐하심이 있다는 소망을 가지고 끝까지 견디어 구원을 얻는 하나님의 강한 용사가 되게 하셔서, 세상이 하나님의 오래 참으심과 관용을 볼 수 있도록 비추는 믿음의 거울이 되게 하옵소서.

Please help me develop a long-suffering character

I want to resemble God’s heart, who believes that we will return to Him because of our sins and who endures and endures again.

When I see my children, please let me always see them as waiting and enduring.

Please especially help me develop a long-suffering character that will not abandon trust in God even in the midst of the pain and trials they will face in this world.

Please let me not make the mistake of pursuing comfort when suffering because of my faith.

So that I may enjoy suffering as patience, patience as refinement, and refinement as the joy of fulfilling hope.

Please let me become a strong warrior of God who endures to the end and obtains salvation with the hope that God’s will is in the midst of long-suffering and that God will be pleased at the end, and let me become a mirror of faith that reflects God’s long-suffering and tolerance to the world.
