하나님의 성품을 닮게 하소서
 
새롭게 하시는 하나님, 아이가 거룩한 하나님의 성품을 닮게 하옵소서.
 
주님께서 이미 이 아이를 거룩한 하나님의 형상으로 만들어 주셔서 우리 아이를 볼 때마다 주님의 형상을 떠올리게 하시니 감사합니다.
 
그러나 주님, 하나님의 내면을 닮은 존귀한 존재로 지음받았지만, 죄와 허물로 얼룩져 있는 우리들을 주의 사랑으로 감싸 안아주시길 원합니다.
 
특별히 성령 하나님께서 자녀에게 은혜를 주셔서 온전한 하나님의 형상인 예수 그리스도를 닮아가게 하옵소서.
 
자녀가 주를 믿는 확실한 믿음 위에 서서, 하나님의 성품을 닮아 주변 사람들과 좋은 관계를 유지해 나가고, 감사하며, 기뻐하며, 용서를 구하며, 사랑하는 아름다운 삶을 살아가게 하여 주옵소서.
 
불의를 보거나 누군가의 도움이 필요한 상황이 올 때 타협하지 않고 고난이 있더라도 하나님의 성품대로 행할 용기와 믿음 또한 허락하여 주옵소서.
 
하나님의 성품에 참여하는 자녀를 통해 하나님의 나라가 이 땅에서 이루어지길 소망하며 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Let us resemble the character of God

Renewing God, let the child resemble the character of the holy God.

Thank you for already making this child in the image of the holy God, and for reminding us of the image of the Lord whenever we see our child.

However, Lord, I ask you to embrace us with your love, even though we were created as precious beings with the inner self of God, who are stained with sin and faults.

In particular, may the Holy Spirit grant grace to the child so that he or she may resemble Jesus Christ, the perfect image of God.

May the child stand on the firm faith of believing in the Lord, and may he or she maintain good relationships with those around him or her, and may live a beautiful life of gratitude, joy, forgiveness, and love, as he or she resembles the character of God.

May he or she also have the courage and faith to act according to the character of God without compromise when he or she sees injustice or needs help, even if there is suffering.

I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that the kingdom of God may be realized on this earth through the child who participates in the character of God. Amen.
