Indeed, I will pray to the Lord your God according to your words, and it shall be, that  whatever the Lord answers you, I will declare it to you. I will keep nothing back from you.” 하나님은 주의 자녀의 기도를 들으시고 응답하시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 모든 군대의 지휘관과 요하난과 여사야와 백성의 고하를 막론하고 예레미야에게 나아와 자신들의 탄원을 듣고 여호와께 기도해 주기를 구하며 마땅히 갈 길을 알려주시길 구하였다. 이에 예레미야가 하나님 여호와께 기도하고 여호와께서 응답하신 것을 숨김없이 말하겠다고 했다. 십일 후에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하였는데 이에 그들을 모아 그들이 그 땅에 눌러앉아 산다면 주께서 그들을 세우고 헐지 않으며 재난을 돌이키실 것이며 바벨론 왕을 겁내지 말라고 하며 그들이 복종하지 않고 고집하면 기근이 따라미쳐 죽을 것이라 했다. 아멘

God is the One who hears and answers the prayers of His children. In today's text, all the commanders of the armies, Johanan, Jeshaiah, and the people, regardless of their status, came to Jeremiah and asked him to hear their petitions and pray to the Lord and to show them the way they should go. Jeremiah prayed to the Lord God and said that he would tell them what the Lord had answered without hiding anything. After ten days, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying that if they gathered them together and settled in their land, the Lord would establish them and not tear them down, but would turn back the disaster. Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, and if they did not obey and were stubborn, a famine would follow them and they would die. Amen.
