자녀의 은사가 개발되게 하소서 : 자기이해 지능

우리가 어떤 존재인지, 나보다 나를 더 잘 아시는 하나님, 이 땅에서 살아가는 동안 내가 누구인지, 내가 어디에서 왔고, 어디로 가는지 알게 해주시니 감사합니다.
 
하나님께서 만들어 주신 존재 자체로 우리의 모습을 바르게 알기 원합니다.
 
주님, 어렸을 때부터 자신이 무엇을 잘하고, 어떤 것에 흥미가 있는지, 어떤 환경이 편안하고, 어떤 상황이 불쾌한지 잘 아는 자녀가 있습니다.
 
주님 앞에서 자신이 어떤 존재인지, 자신의 마음이 어떠한지를 잘 파악하는 자녀의 은사를 귀히 여기는 부모가 되게 하옵소서.
 
자녀가 자신의 마음을 시나 노래, 글 등으로 잘 표현하며 읽어낼 수 있도록 돕는 손길이 되게 하옵소서.
 
그리하여 자신을 잘 이해하는 자녀가 자신과 연결된 세계와 그를 부르신 환경으로 나아갈 때에 다른 사람의 발달과 생애에 초석이 되는 지식과 지혜의 샘이 되게 하옵소서.
 
온전한 인격에 이르는 길을 발견하고 깨어진 세상을 도울 수 있는 사람으로 살아가기를 원합니다.
 
주님의 눈길로 자녀를 바라보는 힘을 우리에게 주옵소서.

God, who knows us better than we know ourselves, thank you for letting us know who we are, where we came from, and where we are going while living on this earth.

I desire to truly understand who we are as God created us.

Lord, from a young age, some children know what they are good at, what interests them, what environments they find comfortable, and what situations they find unpleasant.

Please help us to be parents who cherish the gift of our children to understand who they are before You and what their hearts are like.

Please help us to be hands that help our children express and understand their hearts through poetry, song, and writing.

So, as our children, who understand themselves well, move forward into the world connected to them and the environment to which they are called, may they become a source of knowledge and wisdom that lays the foundation for the development and lives of others.

I desire to discover the path to wholeness and live as people who can help a broken world.

Give us the strength to see our children through Your eyes.
