(Ezekiel 17:23 무성) On the mountain height of Israel I will plant it; and it will bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a majestic cedar, Under it will dwell birds of every sort; in the shadow of its branches they will dwell. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 결실을 풍성케 하시고 주의 그늘을 펼치는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 여호와의 말씀이 임하여 '인자야 너는 이스라엘 족속에게 수수께끼와 비유를 말하라'하시며 색깔이 화려하고 날개가 큰 독수리가 레바논에 이르러 백향목 높은 가지를 꺾어 상인의 성읍에 두고 그 땅의 종자를 꺾어 옥토에 심었다고 하고 그것이 포도나무가 되어 가지가 독수리를 향하였는데 이는 아름다운 포도나무가 되어 열매를 맺게 하기 위함이라고 했다. 하지만 그것이 동풍에 부딪힐 때 마를 것이라 하시고, 이것이 바벨론 왕이 왕족 중 하나로 언약을 세우고 이 나라를 낮추어 스스로 서지 못하고 언약을 지키게 하기 위함인데 왕이 그 맹세를 저버렸기 때문에 바벨론에서 죽게 될 것이며 주께서 새 가지를 심겠다 하셨다. 아멘

God is the One who makes His children fruitful and spreads His shade. In today's text, the word of the Lord comes to me: "Son of man, speak a riddle and a parable to the house of Israel." He says an eagle, brightly colored and with large wings, has come to Lebanon. He has plucked a high cedar branch and planted it in a city of merchants. He has plucked the seed of the land and planted it in good soil. It has become a vine, its branches pointing toward the eagle, so that it will be a beautiful vine and bear fruit. However, when the east wind blows, it will wither. This is to ensure that the king of Babylon will be humbled and unable to stand on his own, but will be forced to keep the covenant. Because the king has broken his oath, he will die in Babylon, and the Lord will plant a new branch. Amen.
