학업의 바른 목적을 이해하고 기쁘게 공부하게 하소서
 
우리에게 하나님의 소명을 부어 주시고 그 길을 가도록 지혜와 능력을 주시는 하나님 아버지, 우리에게 허락하신 학업과 은사는 하나님의 영광을 위하여 나아가는 징검다리라고 말씀해 주시고 그 길을 앞서 인도해 주시니 감사합니다.
 
우리의 자녀들이 세상적인 가치관이 난무한 교육현장에서 자라고 있지만 다니엘처럼 하나님 앞에 뜻을 정하고 흔들리지 않는 믿음으로 학업과 은사에 하나님의 뜻을 이루도록 은혜 베풀어 주옵소서.
 
그리하여 공부를 하는 목적이 하나님의 뜻을 아는 것과 은사와 재능을 통해 이웃을 섬기는 것임을 알고 그 뜻을 이루기 위하여 각자에게 주신 소명을 향하여 감사함과 기대함으로 달려가는 우리 자녀들이 되게 하옵소서.
 
때로 우리의 자녀들을 유혹하는 세상의 소리가 있을지라도 공부하는 목적을 정확히 알았을 때 미혹되지 않을 것이나 하나님 앞에서 비전과 소명을 찾아갈 수 있도록 은혜를 베풀어 주옵소서.
 
그리하여 자녀가 하나님을 섬기고 이웃을 사랑하며 돌아볼 수 있는 삶을 살게 하여 주옵소서.

Please help us understand the true purpose of our studies and joyfully pursue them.

Father God, who pours out Your calling upon us and grants us the wisdom and strength to walk that path, thank You for telling us that the studies and gifts You have granted us are stepping stones toward Your glory and for guiding us along that path.

Our children are growing up in an educational environment overflowing with worldly values, but please grant them the grace to set their hearts before You, like Daniel, and to fulfill Your will in their studies and gifts with unwavering faith.

Thus, may our children understand that the purpose of their studies is to know Your will and to serve others through their gifts and talents. May they run toward their respective callings with gratitude and anticipation, fulfilling that will.

Although the world may sometimes tempt our children, if they clearly understand the purpose of their studies, they will not be deceived. Please grant them the grace to discover their vision and calling before You.

May they thus live lives that serve You, love Your neighbors, and care for them.
