10월 첫날의 기도

더 높은 하늘과 깊어 가는 가을을 창조하신 하나님, 국화꽃이 만발하고 코스모스가 한들거리는 들판에 하나님께서 가꿔 주신 열매가 가득합니다.

주님의 은혜로 수확의 때를 맞이한 10월에도 우리를 향한 주님의 사랑은 하늘같이 높고 우리를 구원하신 그 은혜는 더욱 깊어지길 소원합니다.

맑은 날이 지속되고 자연을 벗하기 좋은 가을날, 하늘을 바라보며 주님을 묵상하고, 주님의 창조섭리와 은혜에 더욱 감사하는 저와 우리 가정, 우리 민족이 될 수 있도록 하옵소서.

하나님, 여전히 교육의 영역에서 불거져 나오는 여러 아픔과 애통의 소리, 안타까운 질책과 날카로운 지적이 가득합니다.

그 속에서 하나님이 그토록 원하시는 교육이 일어나게 하시고 바른 기틀을 확립하는 십자가의 정신으로 알곡이 되고, 썩어져 가는 밀알로서 선한 역할을 감당하는 교회와 믿음의 그리스도인이 많아지게 하옵소서.

여름철 이야기를 고스란히 안고 직면하면서 생명을 잇고 속을 채운 열매처럼 풍파 많은 교육 속에서 말할 수 없는 하나님의 사랑과 은혜로 주님이 원하시는 교육의 알곡이 채워지게 하옵소서.

예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Prayer for the First Day of October

God, who created the higher skies and the deepening autumn, the fields where chrysanthemums bloom and cosmos sway are overflowing with the fruits You have nurtured.

As October approaches, the season of harvest by Your grace, may Your love for us remain as high as the sky, and the grace that saved us deepen even more.

On these autumn days, when clear skies persist and nature is a perfect time to enjoy, may we gaze up at the sky and meditate on You, and may we, our families, and our people become even more grateful for Your providence and grace in creation.

God, the field of education is still filled with pain and lament, with sorrowful rebukes and sharp criticisms.

Amidst this, may the education You so desperately desire arise, and may the spirit of the cross, which establishes a sound foundation, become the grain of goodness, and may many churches and Christians of faith fulfill their good roles as grains of wheat that are perishing.

May we, like the fruit that bears the full weight of summer's story, endure life and fill its insides, and may we be filled with the unspeakable love and grace of God amidst the turbulent times of education, bearing the fruits of the education you desire.
