수능 당일, 자녀들과 함께 하소서
 
하나님 아버지, 우리의 자녀들이 긴 시간 동안 시험을 감당할 수 있도록 보호하여 주옵소서.
 
주님의 평안으로 마음을 주장하셔서, 두려움과 불안이 힘을 쓰지 못하게 하옵소서.
 
또한 장시간 시험 문제들을 잘 감당할 수 있는 지력과 체력을 허락하여 주시길 원합니다.
 
하나님을 앙망하는 자에게 새 힘을 주심 같이 우리의 자녀가 피곤하지 않도록 붙들어 주옵소서.
 
지금까지 공부해 온 내용들을 선명하게 떠올릴 수 있도록 지혜와 평안을 주시길 원합니다.
 
모르는 문제가 나오더라도 당황하지 않고 아는 문제에 온전히 집중할 수 있도록 도와주옵소서.
 
욕심에 따라 잘못된 일을 행하지 않게 하시며, 정직을 따라 하나님이 기뻐하시는 일을 행하게 하옵소서.
 
다만 긴장으로 인해 평소에 알던 문제를 놓치는 일은 없게 하여 주시길 원합니다.
 
"주는 포학한 자의 기세가 성벽을 치는 폭풍과 같을 때에 빈궁한 자의 요새이시며 환난 당한 가난한 자의 요새이시며 폭풍 중의 피난처시며 폭양을 피하는 그늘이 되셨사오니"(사25:4)라는 말씀과 같이 우리 자녀가 실패에 대한 두려움 때문에 평안한 마음을 잃어버리지 않게 하시며, 요새이시며 피난처이시며 그늘이 되시는 하나님 안에 거하게 하옵소서.

On the day of the CSAT, please be with our children.

Heavenly Father, please protect our children as they endure the long test.

Please control their hearts with Your peace, so that fear and anxiety do not take over.

Furthermore, please grant them the intellect and stamina to handle the long test questions.

Just as You give new strength to those who look to You, please sustain our children so they do not grow weary.

Please grant them wisdom and peace so they can clearly recall the material they have studied.

Please help them not to panic when faced with questions they do not know, but to focus completely on the ones they do know.

Please keep them from doing wrong things out of greed, and help them pursue honesty and do what pleases You.

However, please do not let tension cause them to miss the questions they already knew.

As it says in Isaiah 25:4, "You have been a fortress for the poor, a stronghold for the needy in their distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the scorching sun, when the blast of the tyrant beats like a storm against the wall." May our children not lose their peace of mind due to the fear of failure, but may they rest in God, their fortress, their refuge, and their shade.
