자녀에게 바른 직업관이 형성되게 하소서
 
하나님, 이 땅에 수많은 직업이 있고 모든 직업은 하나님 안에서 모두 소중한 것인데 우리 안에는 특정 직업만 선호하는 귀천의식이 있음을 고백합니다.
 
그래서 우리 자녀를 향한 하나님의 뜻과 부르심이 무엇인지 고민하기보다는 현재 부유하고 안정되었다고 평가받는 직업만을 자녀에게 강요할 때가 많았음을 고백합니다.
 
이러한 부모 세대의 잘못된 가치관이 자녀 세대에게도 이어져 오늘날 청소년들이 직업선택을 하는 데 있어서 오직 '금전적 보상'과 '직업적 안정'만 좇으려는 마음이 있고, 연봉으로 어떤 사람의 직업을 평가하는 경향이 생겼습니다.
 
옳고 그름보다 물질적 풍요가 더 중요하다는 풍조가 자녀들에게 확산되고 있는 현실을 긍휼히 여겨 주옵소서.
 
하나님, 부모 세대의 잘못된 가치관이 자녀 세대로 흘러 가고 있음을 애통해하며 회개합니다.
 
직업이 물질적 필요를 채우는 통로이기도 하지만 하나님 나라를 이루어가는 통로임을 우리가 가르치치 못했습니다.
 
하나님, 가정과 교회와 학교가 자녀들에게 바른 성경적 직업관을 가르치도록 해 주시고 자녀들이 그 성경적인 가치를 따라 직장을 선택하게 하옵소서.

Please help my children develop a proper sense of career path.

God, there are countless professions on this earth, and all are precious in God's eyes. However, we confess that within us, there is a sense of nobility and baseness, favoring only certain professions.

Therefore, rather than considering God's will and calling for our children, we often force them into careers that are perceived as wealthy and stable.

This flawed value system of the parental generation has been passed down to our children, leading to a tendency among today's youth to pursue only "financial rewards" and "career security" when making career choices, and to judge a person's career by their annual salary.

Please have mercy on the prevailing trend among our children, which values material wealth over right and wrong.

God, we grieve and repent that the flawed values of our parents' generation are being passed down to our children.

We have failed to teach them that while a career is a means of fulfilling material needs, it is also a means of building God's kingdom.

God, please help families, churches, and schools teach our children a proper biblical view of work, and help them choose careers based on these biblical values.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
