Nahum 1:12~13 산성

(Nahum 1:12~13 산성) Thus says the LORD. 'Though they are safe, and likewise many, Yet in this manner they will be cut down When he passes through. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more; For now I will break off his yoke from you. And burst your bonds apart." 하나님은 주의 자녀의 결박을 끊고 자유함을 주시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 '니느웨에 대한 경고'라고 하시며 여호와는 질투하시고 보복하시는 하나님이시며 자기를 대적하는 자에게 진노를 품으신다고 하시고 벌받을 자를 결코 내버려두지 않으시고, 그는 바다를 꾸짖어 그것을 말리시고 모든 강을 말리신다고 했다. 또한 그로 인하여 산들이 진동하고 세계와 그 가운데 모든 것들이 솟아오른다 하시며 여호와는 환난날 자기에게 피하는 자에게 산성이 되시며 대적들을 흑암으로 쫓아내신다고 했다. 또한 그들이 강하고 많을지라도 멸절당하며 그를 괴롭혔으나 다시 괴롭히지 못하고 그 지운 멍에를 깨뜨릴 것이라 했다. 아멘

God is the One who breaks the bonds of His children and grants them freedom. In today's text, He speaks of a "warning against Nineveh," stating that the Lord is a jealous and vengeful God, holding His wrath against those who oppose Him, and that He will never leave anyone unpunished. He rebukes the sea and makes it dry, drying up all the rivers. Furthermore, He says that the mountains quake, and the world and all that is in it heaves. He will be a stronghold for those who take refuge in Him in the day of trouble, and He will drive out their enemies into darkness. He also says that though they are strong and numerous, they will be destroyed; they have tormented Him, but He will no longer torment them, and He will break the yoke that has been placed upon them. Amen.
