(Nahum 2:2 회복) For the LORD will restore the excellence of Jacob Like the excellence of Israel, For the empties have emptied them out And ruined their vine branches. 하나님은 주의 자녀의 영광을 회복시키시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 파괴하는 자가 그들을 치러 올라왔다고 하며 산성을 지키며 허리를 견고히 묶고 힘을 굳게 할 것이라 하고, 여호와께서 야곱의 영광을 회복시켜 이스라엘의 영광 같게 할 것이라 하시며, 그 용사들의 방패가 붉고 병거의 쇠가 번쩍이며 미친듯이 거리를 달리고 그가 그의 존귀한 자를 생각해내고 급히 성에 이르러 막을 것을 준비하며 강들의 수문이 열리고 왕후가 벌거벗은 몸으로 끌려가고 시녀들이 비둘기같이 운다고 하시며 니느웨가 물이 모인 곳과 같았는데 이제 모두 도망갔다 하시며 주께서 그 대적이 되시어 병거를 불살라 연기되게 하리라 했다. 아멘
