자녀의 감정을 이해하는 부모 되게 하소서
 
우리의 부모 되신 하나님, 하나님은 참 부모가 되셔서 우리를 늘 기다려 주시고, 안아 주시고, 있는 그대로 받아 주시는데 우리는 사랑하는 자녀를 기다리지 못하였고, 윽박지르고, 부모의 권위로 복종시킨 때가 많았음을 고백합니다.
 
돌이켜 보면 우리의 무지와 그릇된 양육 때문에 하나님의 형상대로 지어진 자녀의 모습이 왜곡되고, 그 속에 분노가 쌓이게 되었으며, 정서가 상처받았을 순간 순간들이 큰 아픔으로 다가옵니다.
 
주님, 우리를 불쌍히 여기셔서 잘못을 용서하여 주시고, 자녀를 참 부모이신 하나님의 품에 품어 주옵소서.
 
이제 하나님의 형상대로 만들어진 자녀를 하나님께 돌려드립니다.
 
자녀의 부정적인 감정을 전환시키기에 앞서 아이가 내뿜는 마음과 상황을 이해하고, 차분히 기다릴 수 있기를 원합니다.
 
무엇보다 우리에게 온유와 인내를 주옵소서.
 
청지기가 되어 자녀의 모습 그대로를 사랑하게 하시고, 자녀의 감정을 무시하여 자녀를 노엽게 하는 부모가 아니라 예수님처럼 모든 것을 참고, 모든 것을 믿으며, 모든 것을 바라며, 모든 것을 견디는 부모되게 하옵소서.

Help us become parents who understand our children's emotions.

God, our parent, You are our true parents, always waiting for us, embracing us, and accepting us as we are. However, we confess that we have often failed to wait for our beloved children, instead threatening them and forcing them to submit to our parental authority.

Looking back, our ignorance and faulty parenting have distorted the image of our children, created in God's image. Anger has built up within them, and the moments of emotional wounding bring great pain.

Lord, have mercy on us, forgive our mistakes, and embrace our children in the arms of You, our true parent.

Now, we return to You our children, created in Your image.

Before we attempt to change our children's negative emotions, we pray that we may understand their feelings and circumstances, and calmly wait.

Above all, grant us gentleness and patience.

May we become stewards who love our children as they are, and not parents who ignore their feelings and provoke their anger. May we become parents like Jesus, who endure all things, believe all things, hope all things, and endure all things.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
