사순절에 드리는 기도
 
기꺼이 우리를 위해 하나뿐인 아들을 내어 주신 하나님, 예수님의 죽음과 부활을 기억하는 사순절을 보내고 있습니다.
 
하나님과 멀어진 우리를 화목하게 하시려고 십자가를 지신 예수님의 사랑을 기억합니다.
 
예수님이 십자가를 피하지 않고, 우리의 죄를 위해 그 길을 걸어가신 은혜에 감사하는 가정이 되게 하옵소서.
 
무엇보다 부모인 우리가 사랑에 빚진 자로서 자녀에게 예수 그리스도의 복음을 온전히 전하고, 은혜를 흘려보내는 통로 되게 하옵소서.
 
우리 가정의 중심이 십자가 복음이 되게 하시고, 우리를 위해 죽으시고 부활하신 예수님을 늘 고백하게 하옵소서.
 
하나님과 단절된 한국의 교육 가운데에도 예수 그리스도의 화목하게 하는 십자가의 은혜를 임하게 하시고, 하나님의 교육이 세워지는 순간이 속히 오도록 우리를 사용하옵소서.
 
죽음이 끝이라고 말하는 세상 속에서 우리 가정과 한국 교회에 새로움과 영원한 생명을 주시기 위해 이 땅에 오신 예수님을 기억하게 하옵소서.

A Prayer for Lent

God, who willingly gave us your only Son, we observe Lent, remembering the death and resurrection of Jesus.

We remember the love of Jesus, who bore the cross to reconcile us who have estranged ourselves from God.

May our families be grateful for the grace of Jesus, who did not avoid the cross but walked that path for our sins.

Most importantly, may we, as parents, be indebted to you for your love, fully share the gospel of Jesus Christ with our children and become channels of grace.

May the gospel of the cross be the center of our families, and may we always confess Jesus, who died and rose again for us.

Even in the midst of Korean education, which has been cut off from God, may the reconciling grace of the cross of Jesus Christ come upon us, and may we use us to quickly bring about the moment when God's education is established.

In a world that says death is the end, may we remember Jesus, who came to this earth to bring newness and eternal life to our families and the Korean church.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
