자녀의 자존감이 건강하게 형성되게 하소서
 
우리의 아버지 되시는 하나님, 주님께서 빚으시고 만드신 이 자녀가 바른 자아상을 가지길 원하며 간구합니다.
 
이기적인 마음으로 자기만을 바라보는 것이 아니라 자신을 존중하고 사랑하는 건강한 자존감이 형성되게 하옵소서.
 
부모와의 신뢰를 바탕으로 자존감이 형성되는데, 저희가 연약하고 때로는 비교 섞인 말투로, 불신과 의심으로 자녀를 대하였음을 고백합니다.
 
용서하여 주옵소서.
 
하나님의 눈으로 서로를 바라봄으로 자녀 안에 감춰진 귀한 보물같은 강점을 찾게 하시고, 무엇보다 자녀가 자신을 사랑하며, 아끼는 자로 성장하게 하옵소서.
 
건강한 자존감이 뿌리내려 삶 속에서 난관에 부딪혔을 때에 포기하지 않고, 긍정적인 마음으로 일어나게 할 줄을 믿습니다.
 
포기하지 않고 다시 시작하는 마음, 자신을 신뢰하는 마음으로 자라나게 하옵소서.
 
또한 자신의 몸을 존중하여 함부로 몸을 상하지 않게 하며 건강하게 거절하고 극복하는 방법을 알게 하옵소서.
 
늘 우리를 격려하시는 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

May our children develop healthy self-esteem.

God, our Father, we earnestly pray and desire that these children, whom You have molded and created, may possess a sound self-image.

May they develop a healthy self-esteem that respects and loves themselves, rather than focusing solely on themselves with a selfish heart.

Self-esteem is formed based on trust with parents; we confess that we have treated our children with weakness, sometimes with comparative language, and with distrust and suspicion.

Please forgive us.

By looking at one another through God's eyes, may we discover the precious, treasure-like strengths hidden within our children, and above all, may they grow into individuals who love and cherish themselves.

We believe that once healthy self-esteem takes root, they will not give up when faced with difficulties in life, but will rise again with a positive mindset.

May they grow with a heart that does not give up but starts anew, and with a heart that trusts themselves.

Furthermore, may they learn to respect their bodies so as not to harm them carelessly, and learn how to healthily refuse and overcome challenges.
