영,유아기 자녀의 인지가 건강하게 발달하게 하소서
 
생명의 주인되신 하나님, 지혜와 키가 자라가며 하나님과 사람에게 더욱 사랑스러워 가셨던 예수님처럼 우리 자녀 역시 몸과 마음이 강건한 아이로 자라게 하시고 지혜로운 아이로 자라게 하여 주옵소서.
 
영유아인 자녀가 작은 입, 작은 눈, 작은 귀, 작은 손으로 세상을 배워나갈 때이니 만큼 가정 안에서 하나님 나라를 경험할 수 있도록 환경을 조성하게 하옵소서.
 
주변에서는 어린 자녀들을 위한 학습교구들이 넘쳐나고, 다른 부모들이 하는 것처럼 다양한 교구들로 아이들을 자극해줘야 할 것 같은 부담감이 부모인 우리에게 있습니다.
 
그러나 하나님, 가르쳐야 한다는 부담감이 아니라 자녀 스스로의 속도에 맞게 만지고 맛보고 경험하고 교감하는 모든 일상이 배움임을 깨닫게 하옵소서.
 
하나님의 지혜와 마음을 부어주셔서 하얀 백지장같은 우리 자녀들의 생각과 마음 속에 사랑의 하나님, 참 좋은 아버지 하나님을 그려 주는 부모, 우리가 하나님을 신뢰하는 것처럼 우리 자녀들에게 참으로 신뢰할 만한 부모가 되게 하여 주옵소서.

May the cognitive development of our infants and toddlers be healthy.

God, Lord of life, just as Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man, may our children also grow into children strong in body and mind, and into wise children.

As infants and toddlers are learning about the world with their small mouths, eyes, ears, and hands, may we create an environment within our homes where they can experience the Kingdom of God.

Our surroundings are overflowing with educational toys for young children, and we, as parents, feel a burden to stimulate our children with various toys just as other parents do.

However, God, help us to realize that learning is not about the burden of having to teach, but about every aspect of daily life—touching, tasting, experiencing, and interacting at our children's own pace.

Pour out Your wisdom and heart upon us so that we may become parents who paint the image of the God of love and the truly good Father God within the blank minds and hearts of our children; help us to become parents who are truly trustworthy to our children, just as we trust God.

I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
