(2Corinthians 3:15~17 영광) But even to this day when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Neverthless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 하나님은 주의 자녀에게 자유함을 주시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 바울은 '우리가 다시 자천하기를 시작하겠느냐'하면서 고린도 성도들이 바로 바울의 편지라 하고 그들은 먹으로 쓴 것이 아니라 살아계신 하나님의 영으로 마음에 쓴 것이라 하며 또한 무슨일이든지 바울이 스스로 한 것이 아니기 때문에 스스로 만족할 것이 아니며 만족은 하나님으로부터 난다고 하고 또한 우리를 새언약의 일꾼되기에 만족하게 하셨는데 율법 조문으로 하지 않았다고 하고 영의 직분이 더욱 영광이 있다고 하며 모세가 얼굴에 수건을 썼으나 언제나 주께로 돌아가는 자는 수건이 벗겨져 하나님의 영광을 볼 것이라 했다. 아멘

God is the One who gives freedom to His children. In today's passage, Paul asks, "Shall we begin to commend ourselves again?" He declares that the Corinthian believers are indeed his letter, stating that they were not written with ink but on the heart by the Spirit of the living God. He further explains that since nothing Paul accomplished on his own, he should not be self-satisfied, but satisfaction comes from God. He also states that God has satisfied us to be ministers of the new covenant, not through the letter of the law, and that the ministry of the Spirit is more glorious. Finally, he remarks that just as Moses wore a veil over his face, the veil will be removed for anyone who returns to the Lord, and they will see the glory of God. Amen.
