(2Corinthians 4:2 직분) But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 하나님은 주의 자녀를 추천하여 진리를 나타내시는 분이시다. 오늘 본문에서는 바울은 그 직분을 받아 긍휼하심을 받은 대로 낙심하지 아니하며 이에 숨은 부끄러움을 버리고 속임으로 행치 않으며 하나님의 말씀을 혼잡하게 하지 않고 오직 진리를 나타내어 하나님 앞에서 각 사람을 양심에 대해 스스로 추천한다고 하며, 복음이 가리웠으면 망하는 자들에게 가리워진 것으로 이 세상 신이 믿지 아니하는 자들의 마음을 혼잡케 하여 그리스도의 영광의 복음의 광채가 비치지 못하게 한다고 하고 그리스도는 하나님의 형상이라 했다. 또한 바울은 자신을 전파하는 것이 아닌 그리스도 예수의 주되시며 예수를 위해 바울의 종된 것을 전파한다 했다. 아멘

God is the One who commends His children to reveal the truth. In today's passage, Paul states that having received His ministry and mercy, he does not lose heart; he casts away hidden shame, does not walk in deceit, and does not distort the word of God, but rather reveals the truth and commends each person to conscience before God. He further states that if the gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, and that the god of this world has confused the minds of unbelievers so that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ cannot shine, and declares that Christ is the image of God. Furthermore, Paul declares that he does not preach himself, but that Christ Jesus is Lord and that he is a servant for Jesus' sake. Amen.
